Mitch's Certified Classes

1. Register for a Class
   Complete and submit the online class registration form on the Mitch's Certified Classes website.
1. After you complete and submit the online registration form, you will receive an invoice for the class within two days. You may pay the invoice online or by check.
2. Once payment is received by Mitch’s Certified Classes (MCC), you will receive a
1. Payment receipt from quickbooks@notification.intuit.com, and
2. Class confirmation email with the location and additional information from customerservice@mitchscertifiedclasses.com
3. (Optional) Make Reservation for Accommodations
1. Visit our Recommended Accommodations web page for more information.
2. Submit the Exam Application
   Complete and submit the certification exam application PDF form (see Exam Applications below) with payment to California-Nevada Section, American Water Works Association (AWWA), at least 20 days prior to the exam date (preferably sooner). See Exam Application Deadline in the list below.
   Note: The certification exam fee is NOT included in the class fee. A separate application and non-refundable fee must be submitted to the AWWA.
   Once the exam application and payment have been received by AWWA for the:
1. Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification exam, you will receive a confirmation email from:
1. “ca-nv-awwa.org” for the hands-on portion of the Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester exam, and
2. “CandidateSupport” with instructions on how to schedule the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for a date/time/location you choose.
2. Cross Connection Control Specialist certification exam, you will receive a confirmation email from:
1. “CandidateSupport” with instructions on how to schedule the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for a date/time/location you choose.

Note: Be sure to schedule the CBT for as soon after the class as possible, so that you retain the information provided in class.

The California-Nevada American Water Works Association (CA-NV AWWA) has moved from a paper-based written certification exam to computer-based testing (CBT), for the Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) & Cross-Connection Control Specialist (CCCS) exams.
